The information on this page forms our terms and conditions and is in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000.


The material featured on this site is subject to copyright protection. The permission to reproduce material does not extend to anything on this site identified as being the copyright of a third party. Authorisation to reproduce such material must be obtained from the copyright holders concerned.

Printing & Proof Service

A proof will be emailed to you for approval, changes may be made and one revised proof will be sent free of charge. Please try to ensure all of the details and layout are correct to your requirements, we are not responsible for checking spelling and grammar. If further proofs are required a £7.50 proofing fee is payable.

Mistakes and typos

While we endevour to spot and correct any mistakes, it is the customers responsibility to spot and instruct us regarding any corrections needed – before the proof has been approved. If any corrections are needed, a second proof will be emailed which will need to be checked fully and approved. Once a proof has been approved and we are in- structed to print the item, then the full cost of a reprint will be deemed chargable to the customer if mistakes are found.
Hymns, Readings and Poems- It should be noted that these are referenced from multiple sources and all should be checked with the funeral service/church/crematoria to ensure that they correspond to the version used at that location. We accept no liability if hymn sheets do not match the version used by the location of the service.


Payment can be made by debit or credit card through the Square payment or Paypal – a secure payment facility (we do not have access to your card details)

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.


While the Company uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information, the Company specifically disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, or operability or availability of information or material displayed in any and all Company web sites, either now operating or created in the future. The Company disclaims any responsibility or liability for the deletion, failure to store, mis-delivery, or untimely delivery of any information or material. The Company disclaims any responsibility or liability for any harm resulting from downloading or accessing any information or material on the Internet through the Company web site
Without limiting the foregoing, under no circumstances shall the Company be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, Internet failures, computer equipment failures, telecommunication equipment failures, other equipment failures, electrical power failures, strikes, labour disputes, riots, insurrections, civil disturbances, shortages of labour or materials, fires, floods, storms, ex- plosions, acts of God, war, governmental actions, orders of domestic or foreign courts or tribunals, non-performance of 3rd-parties, or loss of or fluctuations in heat, light, or air conditioning.
Our liability (and that of our officers, directors, employees) of any kind (including our own negligence) with respect to our website or service for any one event or series of related events is limited to the total fees which you have paid to us in the 12 months before the event(s) complained of.
In no event (including our own negligence) will we be liable for any:
(a) economic losses (including, without limit, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings);
(b) loss of goodwill or reputation;
(c) special, indirect or consequential losses;

Loss or Damage of goods in transit

Order-of-Service.co.uk or Chain & Pyle send out clients work using next day delivery services. We accept no liability for the loss of goods in transit other than the value of the order. Please ensure that your order is placed in good time to allow for a reprint if the original order should be lost or damaged in transit. We would not charge for a re- print if the original order is lost.
Consumer right of return and refund.
This cancellation right does not apply in the case of: any made-to-measure or custom-made products

Changes to our site

We may update our site from time to time, and may change the content at any time. However, please note that any of the content on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it.
We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.
